| this is my best one. my freshman year of college i was leaving a bar at about 1 a.m. and climbed into the first van cab that pulled up. i didn't know where it was going or who was in it. it turned out to be a group of 7 girls that i didn't know, but they were heading back to campus so they let me ride. i didn't put 2 and 2 together to realize they were all friends and we were packed in really tight so i leaned over to the girl next to me and in asked her if she thought it was fair that a large girl was taking up two seats when we were crammed in like sardines. i thought this was hilarious and started laughing while all seven of them started yelling at me. i regained my composure and about 5 minutes later announced that i was the most attractive person in the cab. again i laughed and the girl in the front told the cab driver to pull over. i was in tears as they physically removed me from the cab and threw me on the ground. it was my first week at school and i was now lost with no money somewhere in New Orleans. i didn't know anybody with a car so i was in trouble. i just started walking and laughing until i sobered up enough to realize i was in trouble. i walked until i saw lights that turned out to be a hospital and took a short nap in the lobby then asked for directions. of course i was still drunk and not paying attention so i left and kept walking. i fell in a puddle right outside and now smelled like a mixture of whiskey and that discusting mud they have near sewers, but i kept walking. about an hour later i was right back at the hospital after completing a large circle. i left again and at this point was a little scared. i then found a security guard at the hospital construction site and asked for a ride home. she asked me if i was drunk and i looked myself up and down and asked her "what do you think?" needless to say she didn't give me a ride so i kept walking. i found myself walking through a pitch black park with absolutely no idea what i was going to do. at this point i saw a parked police car and i figured that some kind of ticket was better than being shot. i walked up to it and saw the 2 cops asleep so i knocked on the window. the guy rolled it down and looked at me like i was an idiot. i again asked for a ride back to my campus and he looked at me like i was an even bigger idiot because it was about 5 miles away. then without saying anything he got out of the car and threw me against it, patted me down, and cuffed me. at this point i was a little worried because neither of them would talk to me so i just assumed i was going to jail for the night which was still better than my current predicament. however, he was a nice guy and when i started noticing buildings i knew he was taking me to campus. i was also relieved because it was 4 a.m. and i didn't think anyone would be out front of my dorm. i was very wrong for about the tenth time that night. he pulled up to the front and drug me out by my handcuffs. i was a little groggy because i had been laying down so at first i didn't notice the 25 of my classmates smoking cigarettes out front. it was definately an embarressing way to start my college career, but it makes for a pretty good story. this story is entirely true. i did not embellish anything because as you can see it requires none at all. |

| IF you're in possession of alcohol, or around it, you will get an MIP (Minor In Possession.) If you're not in possession but clearly intoxicated and fail to pass a breathalyzer test you will get an MIC (Minor In Consumption.) Your parents will be contacted. The consequences are the same for both an MIP or an MIC. If you have your license it will most likely be taken away, etc.. |

| Well if it's a drinking party, I drink! But so I don't wake up with a major hangover, I keep hydrated by drinking gatorade, water, or even red bull, between my alcohol shots. In the morning, i'm not really hungover...no headache! But to answer your question a different way...if you're trying to avoid getting drunk, show up a little late, eat first, drink slowly and walk around.(when you're moving around, no one can see how little you've actually drank!) And leave early also, by saying that you've gotta get up early for something. But no matter if you're sober, or drunk...it's a party, so have fun! |

| Hmm well if you aren't interested in not drinking or getting new friends that will respect your decision not to get plastered, I would suggest just nursing a drink for awhile. I don't think they could really keep track of how much you have had. Particularly if they are getting smashed. |

| Wow. That is a really immature approach to alcohol. As an averaged sized female with little drinking experience, I'd recommend drinking one standard drink of alcohol an hour and no more. It should give you a pleasant buzz without making you do anything stupid. Maybe two in the first hour, but do try to space them out. For a 40% beverage, that's about a 25ml shot. About a tablespoon's worth. |
